San Francisco State University Plans Science Building
San Francisco State University will begin construction in summer of 2021 on the $169 million Science & Engineering Innovation Center. Comprising 125,000 sf of new construction and 54,000 sf of renovated space, the 179,000-sf facility will provide the College of Science and Engineering with leading-edge labs and classrooms, as well as offering informal interaction spaces, interdisciplinary lecture halls, and active learning classrooms that will be accessible to the entire campus community.
