ONE Life Sciences is planning to construct the £40 million Bio-Therapeutics Hub for Innovation in Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. Located on the Foresterhill Health Campus, the 69,000-sf facility will provide business incubation space, leasable labs and offices for established companies, collaboration areas, conference rooms, and venues for events and colloquia. The project is designed by BDP to catalyze the growth of the life science industry in northeast Scotland and accelerate the creation of new therapeutics and healthcare technologies. The first phase of construction is slated for occupancy in 2021. ONE (Opportunity North East) is a consortium that leverages private sector leadership and funding to support regional economic development. Other partners include the University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University, NHS Grampian, and Scottish Enterprise.
