Phase 3 Real Estate Partners and Bain Capital are constructing the Genesis Marina life sciences campus in Brisbane, Calif. Providing over 570,000 rsf of Class A laboratory and office space, the three-building complex will offer floor plates of up to 42,000 sf serviced by robust MEP infrastructure. Designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill to promote collaboration and discovery, the amenity-rich development will include an executive conference center, a restaurant, a café, a fitness center, an outdoor patio and lounge, and direct access to the Bay Trail. The project is located on a former landfill and represents the world’s first Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) precertified construction site. Webcor is the general contractor for the campus, which is expected to attain LEED Gold sustainable design certification. Completion is expected in August of 2023.
