Penn State Health opened a comprehensive cancer facility in October of 2025 at Hampden Medical Center in Enola. Designed by Flad Architects, the 40,250-sf building consolidates three West Shore locations to ensure the streamlined delivery of world-class care by a team of multidisciplinary specialists. The Penn State Health Cancer Center offers critical services including physician appointments, diagnostic imaging, infusion, medical oncology, radiation therapy, and mammary care.

Featuring a dedicated entrance on the ground level, the sophisticated development houses inviting social spaces, advanced chemotherapy and radiation suites, and an onsite medical laboratory. Patients will benefit from access to advanced therapies and innovative clinical trials that harness the latest research discoveries to improve outcomes in cancer prevention and treatment.

Benchmark Construction Company was the general contractor for the project, with WSP as MEP/FP engineer and Pennoni as civil engineer. ADAMS served as medical equipment planner and Corbin Design provided wayfinding and signage solutions. Ground was broken in June of 2024.
