Texas Tech Health El Paso Constructs Fox Cancer Center

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso is constructing a $156 million comprehensive cancer hub and a $186 million clinical sciences building to ensure access to treatment throughout the West Texas region and enhance patient outcomes. The Steve and Nancy Fox Cancer Center is being created in partnership with University Medical Center of El Paso, and is supported by over $130 million in state funding and a $30 million county bond.

UC Davis Health Opens Folsom Medical Care Clinic

UC Davis Health opened the $182 million Folsom Medical Care Clinic in August of 2025 to elevate community health outcomes across the Sierra Foothills region of California. Consolidating three existing local facilities, the 114,000-sf building offers primary and specialty care, including pediatric and family medicine as well as cardiology, neurology, hematology, and other disciplines. Sydney Children’s Hospital Redevelopment Achieves Phase One Completion

Construction was completed in August of 2025 on the first phase of the redevelopment of Sydney Children's Hospital in Australia. Created in partnership with Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, the Children’s Cancer Institute (CCI), the federal government, and the government of New South Wales, the AUD 658 million ($429.9 million) project includes the construction of Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre to accelerate the translation of discoveries into clinical practice and improved patient outcomes.

University of Michigan Health Breaks Ground on Outpatient and Surgical Center

University of Michigan Health broke ground on the Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg Troy Center for Specialty Care in August of 2025 to increase access to advanced clinical care throughout the state. Designed by Hobbs+Black Architects, the $250 million complex will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services alongside an ambulatory venue with operating rooms for both surgeries and procedures. Imaging capabilities will encompass CT scans, MRIs, and mammograms, and treatment protocols will be supported with an infusion suite and a LINAC machine.

Cambridge Children’s Hospital Will Elevate Pediatric Care

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridgeshire University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are planning to construct a £671 million ($910.4 million) children’s hospital in association with the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Designed by Hawkins\Brown and White Arkitekter, the 373,507-sf facility will offer 187 beds in total, with 108 for inpatient use, 16 dedicated to pediatric care, and 42 day-case beds.

BC Cancer Breaks Ground on Kamloops Cancer Center

BC Cancer broke ground in July of 2025 on the CAD 386 million ($281 million) Kamloops Cancer Center, which will be operated in partnership with Interior Health. Spanning five stories, the 226,042-sf facility will address a growing demand for high-quality, accessible care in the Thompson-Cariboo-Shuswap region. An outpatient ambulatory clinic will offer ten examination rooms and two consultation rooms. A CT simulator will enable radiation therapy planning, accompanied by three linear accelerators (LINACs) in shielded treatment environments.

Designed by ZGF Architects and WRNS Studio, the state-of-the-art center will provide patients with expanded access to specialized, technology-enabled care where they live, work, and play.
