Penn Medicine broke ground in April of 2025 on a $270 million multispecialty outpatient center in Montgomery Township, Pa. Designed by Array Architects, the four-story, 162,000-sf facility will provide comprehensive treatment for cancer, including radiation oncology and chemotherapy, as well as heart and vascular conditions, orthopedic care, neurology, and women’s health. The sophisticated structure will offer advanced imaging capabilities, infusion therapy services, and surgical consultations. The third floor will feature dedicated space for dermatology, including Mohs surgical rooms for skin cancer procedures. Adaptable shell space will enable future growth, and a five-deck parking garage will accommodate 800 vehicles.
Targeting LEED Gold certification, the all-electric development will be powered by a 530-ton geothermal system for heating and cooling, and low-carbon concrete will further reduce environmental impact. Illuminated by abundant natural light, the sustainable center will incorporate a healing garden, bird-safe glass, and native landscaping.
IMC Construction is the general contractor for the facility, which is slated for occupancy in late 2027.
