Biodynamic Research Corp. (BRC) will lease 38,000 sf in a new 70,045-sf single-story tech building in San Antonio. Ground was recently broken on the facility, the second phase of the University Heights Tech Center, by developer R.L. Worth and Associates of San Antonio. The building will feature a high degree of office finish-out and large floorplates, as well as a high parking ratio: 6.16 cars per 1,000 rentable square feet. BRC is a professional services and research firm and a leading consultant in biodynamics research.

NVR Building Products will house its product manufacturing division in a 131,000 sf facility on fifty acres in Delanco, N.J. The building will be constructed by Charlotte, N.C.-based real estate developer The Keith Corp. The $12-million project is slated for completion by November 2003. NVR Building Products is a subsidiary of NVR Inc., a homebuilding and mortgage banking company based in McLean, Va.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) will expand its main office in Arlington's Virginia Square, adding 415,472 sf to its 370,000-sf campus. The $75-million development will accommodate an additional 1,100 employees. Comprised of two nine-story towers with ground-floor retail, the project is slated for completion in 2006. The FDIC will vacate leased offices in the district but will maintain its headquarters office across from the Old Executive Office Building.

Entegris Inc., a Chaska-based manufacturer of products to protect semiconductors during shipment, has expanded manufacturing capabilities at its Bad Rapaneau, Germany facility to make both 150 mm and 200 mm Ultrapak wafer carriers.

FASL LLC, a company merging the flash memory operations of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Fujitsu, is planning to build a chipmaking plant in Sunnyvale, Calif. AMD's Fab 25 plant in Austin, which manufactures only flash memory chips, will also become part of FASL.
