Procter & Gamble is engaged in a $450 million expansion of the Mason Business Center in Ohio. Designed by HDR, the transformative project comprises two new three-story buildings that will provide best-in-class laboratory and office space to catalyze R&D innovation. Researchers with diverse domains of expertise will be strategically colocated to drive collaboration and streamline the implementation of new technologies. 

SJP Properties broke ground in July of 2025 on a state-of-the-art R&D headquarters for Nokia Bell Labs in the Health & Life Science Exchange (HELIX) district in New Brunswick. The 370,000-sf tower features a build-to-suit design, with leading-edge environments and building systems tailored for precise functions within Nokia Bell Labs’ innovation and research operations. Office settings will be accompanied by sophisticated laboratories integrating robust strategies for vibration mitigation.

The University of Sydney celebrated the beginning of construction on the AU$780 million Sydney Biomedical Accelerator in May of 2025. Created in partnership with the Government of New South Wales and Sydney Local Health District, the 387,500-sf structure will forge a vital link between the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the university's Camperdown campus.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center broke ground in May of 2025 on a visionary complex that will collocate groundbreaking biomedical research with world-class patient care in Kansas City. Designed by HDR and Hoefer Welker, the $450 million facility will deliver a comprehensive array of services in a single integrated location, as well as providing direct access to leading-edge clinical trials.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is constructing a $1.9 billion inpatient tower in Columbus. Designed by HDR, the 26-story building will integrate exceptional environments for patient care with leading-edge facilities for research, medical education, and training. The 1.9 million-sf development will provide 820 private rooms equipped with sophisticated telehealth technologies and entertainment systems, with ample space for visiting family members.
