Vanderbilt Science & Engineering Facilities Tour

Saturday, October 7th
8:15AM - Participants check-in in hotel lobby, and load the bus including any luggage
8:30AM - Bus departs
8:45AM - Bus arrives at Vanderbilt University for a two hour tour
11:30AM - Bus departs Vanderbilt University to Nashville International Airport (BNA)
12:00PM - Bus drops passengers at Nashville International Airport 

A $50 transportation fee will be added to the conference registration cost for this optional tour.

Engineering Science Building

Vanderbilt University's renovated and expanded Engineering Science Building and 17th & Horton Building are part of a campus-wide initiative to evaluate and optimize existing spaces for faculty-led discovery through teaching and research. These expanded and renovated facilities support nanoscale science and engineering, biophotonics, advanced AI and data science processing, student project and maker initiatives.

IMPORTANT TOUR NOTES:
  • YOU MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE (SEE REGISTRATION FORM) AND HAVE WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM TRADELINE IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE TOUR.
  • Site tour attendance is limited. Space on the site tours will be filled on a first-registered, first-served basis.
  • No more than 5 people per organization will be confirmed on a tour.
  • Failure to check-in at the tour desk in the lobby 15 mins. prior to departure time may result in your seat being forfeited to those on the stand-by list.
  • All tour participants must arrive at the site on the tour bus with the tour group. For security reasons, no one may meet the group at the tour site.
  • A $50 bus transportation fee will be charged to your registration fee. This fee is non-refundable for cancellations made within two weeks of the tour date.
