Texas A&M University dedicated the College of Dentistry's $127 million Clinic and Education Building in Dallas in January of 2020. Designed by Kahler Slater and BRW Architects, the 160,000-sf facility provides specialized clinics, clinical support spaces, faculty offices, classrooms, study areas, and approximately 300 dental chair stations. Supporting a new curriculum for team-based learning, the collaborative building will enable students to participate in an innovative group practice model for the delivery of patient-centric care. The project will allow the college to increase its 10,000 annual patient visits by as much as 40 percent, as well as providing additional enrollment capacity. A parking garage is located on the first three levels of the nine-story structure.
