Milwaukee School of Engineering Breaks Ground on Engineering Innovation Center
The Milwaukee School of Engineering broke ground on the Robert D. Kern Engineering Innovation Center in July of 2025 to catalyze interdisciplinary education and collaboration. Designed by RAMLOW/STEIN Architecture + Interiors, the $75.5 million facility will offer flexible labs, modern classrooms, robotics workshops, an outdoor sustainability lab, and public spaces for interactive learning.
Chicago Fire FC Plans New Soccer Stadium
Chicago Fire FC is planning to construct a $650 million soccer stadium in downtown Chicago. Designed by Gensler, the dynamic sports destination will accommodate up to 22,000 fans, offering premium seating options including 50 suites, over 500 loge seats, and 3,500 club seats with access to exclusive recreational venues. The bowl will be arranged to bring fans dramatically closer to the natural grass pitch to enhance the match-viewing experience, and three field-level suites will be dispersed amid the player benches.
Masaryk University Builds MUNI Biopharma Hub
Masaryk University (MU) is constructing the MUNI BioPharma Hub to drive excellence in research, education, and innovation in Brno in the Czech Republic. Offering three underground levels and six stories above grade, the 163,504-sf project was designed by Pelčák a partner architekti to combine leading-edge scientific infrastructure with modern academic venues.

Cambridge Children’s Hospital Will Elevate Pediatric Care
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridgeshire University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are planning to construct a £671 million ($910.4 million) children’s hospital in association with the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Designed by Hawkins\Brown and White Arkitekter, the 373,507-sf facility will offer 187 beds in total, with 108 for inpatient use, 16 dedicated to pediatric care, and 42 day-case beds.
