Ivanhoé Cambridge and Lendlease Complete Boston Life Sciences Center
Ivanhoé Cambridge and Lendlease celebrated the completion of a $545 million life sciences center in Boston in June of 2025. Designed by SGA, FORUM strategically integrates Class A laboratory environments with collaborative workspaces and engaging community amenities. The 350,000-rsf facility offers flexible floor plates spanning 50,000 sf, supported by robust infrastructure to meet the demands of next-generation research programs.
University of Kansas Cancer Center Breaks Ground on Translational Research & Patient Care Complex
The University of Kansas Cancer Center broke ground in May of 2025 on a visionary complex that will collocate groundbreaking biomedical research with world-class patient care in Kansas City. Designed by HDR and Hoefer Welker, the $450 million facility will deliver a comprehensive array of services in a single integrated location, as well as providing direct access to leading-edge clinical trials.
Norwich University Constructs Cyber Fusion Research and Development Center
Norwich University is constructing the Cyber Fusion Research and Development Center in Northfield, Vt. The multifunctional building will provide leading-edge environments for programs related to cybersecurity, advanced computing, criminology, communications, geointelligence, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and information dominance and warfare.
Rice University Breaks Ground on Moody Center Complex for Student Life
Rice University broke ground in May of 2025 on the Moody Center Complex for Student Life (MCCSL) in Houston. Providing a flexible framework of public and private settings, the 75,000-sf facility is poised to become the cornerstone of student activity on campus. The project is strategically sited on the south side of the Central Quadrangle and will catalyze synergies with the Rice Memorial Center and Ley Student Center, which will be renovated upon completion of the new building.
