Western Kentucky University officially opened a $99.4 million facility for the Gordon Ford College of Business in September of 2025 in Bowling Green, Ky. Representing a key component of the institution’s campus master plan, Amy and David Chandler Hall will drive academic innovation and support ongoing enrollment growth in the department. The 113,000-sf building emphasizes active learning through spaces that simulate real-world working environments, such as a specialized sales classroom, a virtual reality simulation space, and a trading lab with access to Bloomberg Terminals. Arranged around a three-story atrium, the technology-rich structure offers 21 adaptable instructional venues, an auditorium, areas for team projects, and a student success center.
Gensler’s design for Chandler Hall promotes collaboration, mentorship, and professional development for graduates and undergraduates, as well as elevating the research and pedagogies of faculty and staff. Messer Construction broke ground on the student-centered facility in June of 2023.
