Penn State Health Begins Construction on Comprehensive Cancer Center

Penn State Health began construction in June of 2024 on the fit-out of its comprehensive cancer center in Enola. Designed by Flad Architects, the 43,000-sf facility will ensure that patients can access world-class care delivered by a multidisciplinary team of specialists. The Penn State Health Cancer Center will feature a dedicated entrance on the ground level, inviting social spaces, advanced chemotherapy and radiation suites, and an onsite medical laboratory.

Texas State University Builds STEM Facility

Texas State University will begin construction in August of 2024 on the  $140 million STEM Classroom Building in San Marcos. Designed by Ayers Saint Gross and PGAL, the eight-story, 168,000-gsf facility will house the departments of mathematics and computer science, as well as providing instructional venues, class labs, departmental offices, and research labs for several other academic disciplines.

BXP Completes Waltham R&D Facility

BXP recently completed a 113,000-rsf innovation hub in Waltham, Mass. Designed by TRIA, 103 CityPoint aims to reshape corporate culture for science and technology tenants, energizing its workforce and accelerating growth. The flexible flour-story structure provides 80 percent laboratory and office space, with 20 percent accommodating a double-height cGMP manufacturing area spanning approximately 25,000 sf.

USDA & UW Madison Break Ground on Dairy Forage Research Center

The U.S. Department of Agriculture broke ground in June of 2024 on a new facility for the Dairy Forage Research Center in Prairie Du Sac, Wis. Created in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, the world-class complex will enable the Agricultural Research Service to work side-by-side with academic investigators to develop sustainable solutions for animal husbandry, food production, and water management.
